Health Information Technology Specialist will work with Medical Groups/Integrated Delivery Networks(MG/IDNs) to align Pfizer HIT Capabilities with the MG/IDNs EHR capabilities that will help to improve diagnosis, management and treatment of patients within the areas of NVAF, Diabetic Neuropathic Pain, Colon Rectal Cancer Screening and Smoking Cessation.

In partnership with the KAM RD strategically plan across our Key Accounts to determine optimal HIT strategies that support the goals and KPIs
Engage directly with customers to accelerate and optimize customer engagement that drives incremental value for the customer, Pfizer, and the patient
Provide HIT insights, patient oriented solutions and implementation guidance to key MG-IDN customers with RC approved resources
Attain thorough understanding of customer EHR capabilities and applicable workflows and align to gaps in patient care
Align Pfizer HIT capabilities with customer EHR capabilities to appropriately and compliantly advance patient care within key therapeutic areas
Utilize corresponding RC approved resources to present compelling HIT insights and patient oriented solutions that are aligned to customer Goals and KPIs
Serve as technical expert to the broader Pfizer Account Management team to help them understand application of appropriate Health IT strategies, use of Health IT resources, and help assess Pfizer s needs related to the customer s capabilities and/or needs
Health IT Specialist will provide input into RC approved, scalable, EHR enabled tools and resources within the key therapeutic areas.
BA/BS degree required, advanced degree in a Health IT related field preferred
Experience in the functional and technical application of health information technologyImplementing EMR/EHR applicationsClinical integrationAn understanding of the Health IT landscape including inter-relationships of the players within the Health IT space EHR vendors, third-party organizations and data sources
Hands- on experience with top EHR Platforms required (e.g., Epic, Allscripts, eClinicalWorks, Cerner, etc)
An understanding of the changing healthcare environment and its potential impact on MG-IDN s, Health Information Technology and patient care.
Excellent organizational, written and oral communication skills are necessary to manage diverse organizational and customer needs.
Demonstrated ability to monitor and measure outcomes to ensure progress toward goals and that plans are adjusted accordingly to ensure impact is established and sustained
Experience in leading and/or participating in cross-functional teams
Excellent presentation skills required
